I was born in Calgary, AB and grew up in the community of Haysboro. I attended Haysboro Elementary School, Woodman Junior High School and Henry Wise Wood Senior High School. I have a degree in Geology and currently reside in Cedarbrae with my spouse, Ashley, and our newborn daughter, Jessica Jerry-Liv.
I am fortunate enough to have experience in a wide variety of occupations. I have owned a small plumbing and electrical services company, worked twelve years in the nightlife industry and currently work for the University of Calgary. When I was seventeen, I coordinated the snow shoveling program for seniors for the Haysboro Community Association as well. I have also tried my hand at professional wrestling and worked at Heritage Park!
I am in my tenth year as a member of the Stonecroft at Cedarbrae Board of Directors. I have served as Vice President since 2017 and was the Treasurer from 2014-2015. I was also the Vice President of Finance for the Joli Fou Geological Society in the 2014-2015 year. I served as a Director at Large on the Wildrose Calgary-Glenmore Constituency Association in 2017.
I enjoy weight training and long distance running in my free time. Every year, you can find me competing in the Stampede Road Race in July and the Taber Cornfest Fun Run in August. Some of my favourite vacation spots include Waterton Lakes National Park, Ainsworth Hot Springs, Las Vegas and Coronado.
